Chris Moss
Executive Director
Chris Moss is the new CEO of London Cares and has over 25 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector in London. Chris has worked in health care, social services, harm reduction, homelessness, mental health and housing.
Chris was excited to join London Cares because of the team’s commitment to harm reduction, compassion and making a difference in our community. They are the bravest people who do really hard work and I’m so thrilled to be part of the team.
Chris brings experience in strategic thinking, governance, social enterprise and learning & development. She is inspired by the success of London Cares and the impact they’ve had in the lives of the their participants and hopes to continue the hard work that was started over a decade ago.
In her downtime, Chris coaches and competes in CrossFit, spends time with family & friends and enjoys travelling. Chris’ passion for social justice, advocacy and disruption of the status quo shows up in her work and life each and every day.
Chantelle McDonald

Chantelle McDonald
Director of Service
Chantelle is the Director of Service at London Cares. Her portfolio includes oversight of Street Outreach, Resting Space, and the Housing Stability Program.
Chantelle decided to get involved with London Cares because she believes in the unique strengths of every individual. She stays at London Cares because she wants to work somewhere that addresses the complex and root causes of homelessness while working with individuals in a dignified way. It is not an easy job, and you must do it with love.
Chantelle is big on spending time in her community and with friends and family. She has a love for animals, travelling, and nature.
Season Bieronski
Manager of Housing Services

Season Bieronski
Manager of Housing Services
Season is the Manager of Housing Services. She oversees a team of housing stability workers who provide intensive case management support and a team of housing selection workers who provide support with securing housing for our participants.
Season strongly believes that housing is a human right and that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. She enjoys her role at London Cares because it provides the ability to use a whatever-it-takes approach to supporting those most vulnerable in her community. She is passionate about the work being done at London Cares and will always continue to push for and create systems change.
Season is a lover of plants, strong coffee, naps on the weekends, and spending time with her friends and family.
Lierka Vandepoele
Manager of Outreach Services

Lierka Vandepoele
Manager of Outreach Services
Lierka is the Manager of Outreach Services at London Cares. She oversees Street Outreach and the Encampment Outreach programs. Lierka holds a Bachelor of Arts from King’s University College, with an honours specialization in criminology and a major in psychology.
Lierka is passionate about working with individuals experiencing untreated mental illness, substance use issues, and ending homelessness in our community. She strives every day to help support individuals bridge the gap from sleeping rough into permanent, stable, and supportive housing. Lierka joined London Cares because she believes everyone has the right to housing, dignity, and respect.
When not working, for self-care, Lierka likes to recharge by the water with a cold drink and a good book, as well as spending time with her mother, partner, and close friends.
Nick Leye

Nick Leye
Director of Finance and Operations
Nick is the Director of Finance and Operations. For the last decade, Nick has been working in finance in both non-profit and business environments. Prior to his endeavours in finance, Nick was a math and science teacher.
When Nick saw London Cares’ need for a full-time financial officer, he knew he wanted to be part of the team. He respected the hardworking team at London Cares and knew the team was filled with great people who care about London’s most vulnerable community members.
Nick is a father of two girls and spends most of his spare time with his wife and daughters. If he’s not with his family, he’s probably watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, football, or Star Wars.

Alex Luis
Manager of Finance and Operations

Alex Luis
Manager of Finance and Operations
Alex is the Manager of Finance and Operations. He oversees a team of strategic thinking problem solvers who provide backbone support to the agency to ensure they have whatever they need, to do whatever it takes. Alex is well versed in all thing’s numbers and tech – stepping into the world of harm reduction and housing first was a new venture for him. Since his first day here, Alex has taken a “feet first, all in” approach to this work – learning about how this agency supports our community and he has seen the difference of what a compassionate approach can make for vulnerable individuals.
Alex loves hitting up the local coffee shops as well as cycling down London’s TVP or any biking event he can attend. Alex is a father of 2 energetic kiddos, enjoys travelling and movie date nights with his wifey.
